Costa Mesa, Calif. - Brandon Cook paced the men and Allison Murray led the women as Cal State Fullerton coompeted only a handful of individuals Saturday in the Vanguard Invitational hosted by Vanguard University.
Cook finished in 34thh place in 27:21 over the 8K course. Murray placed 48th among the women in 20:14 for the 5K race. The other Titan competitors were Jayce Smith (57th in 28:02) and Cesar Rodriguez (64th in 28:10) for the men and Katie Bathgate (60th in 20:38) and Taylor Reyes (63rd in 20:44).
Azusa Pacific won the women's team title and The Master's won the men's race.
