IRVINE, Calif. - It was announced on Tuesday that Junior Mckaylie Caesar was named the Big West Cross Country Female Athlete of the Week.
Mckaylie Caesar won the 5K race at the Mark Covert Classic held over the weekend at Carbon Canyon Regional Park in Brea, Calif.
Caesar came in first place with a time of 17:29 ten seconds ahead of the second place finisher. She also led the Titans to a first place team finish in the event.
Caesar and the Titans will race next at the UCR Invitational on September 17th at the UCR Agricultural Operations Course.
