FULLERTON, Calif. – Cal State Fullerton hosted the Titan Invite on Friday night which marked the final meet before the championship portion of the season begins. The men's team was led by Christian Wehrli while the women were led by Paloma Barron.

Barron ran the 5K race in 18:56.49 to take 21st place overall and lead the women's squad. Kevelin Huerta posted a time of 20:45.91 and Laurel Sparks clocked a time of 22:37.62. Tammy Vien and Alani Johnson also ran for the Titans.
On the men's side, Wehrli's time of 25:36.23 in the 8,000-meter race was good for 17th place overall. Shortly behind him was Cayden Ruiz who posted a time of 25:45.77 in 22nd place. Vincent Perillo was 30th with a time of 26:04.98 and Josh Silva's time of 26:22.36 was good for 39th place.
Next up is the Big West Championships that the Titans are also hosting. The meet will be held next Saturday at Carbon Canyon Regional Park in Brea with a start time of 8:45 a.m. PT.

The Ticket Office is located at the Titan House off of Gymnasium Drive at the eastern end of the Intramural Fields and is open from 10 am – 4 pm PT, Monday – Friday.
