2014 Big West Conference All-Academic Team
CROSS COUNTRY(2015): Did not compete.
CROSS COUNTRY REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2014): Competed in six events, placing in the overall top-25 on three occasions…ran a season-best 8K time of 25:11.8 at the Big West Championships on Nov. 1, finishing 29th overall and third among CSF runners...posted his best finish at the Mustang Challenge in Santa Clarita, Calif., on Sept. 20, covering the 8K course in 25:59.5 to finish second overall and first among Fullerton participants…concluded the season at the NCAA West Regionals in third place among the CSF student-athletes and 134th overall, logging a time of 32:14.6 at the 10K event in Stanford, Calif., on Nov. 14...named on the Big West Conference All-Academic Team.
OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2014): Did not compete for the Titans during the 2014 outdoor track and field season.
CROSS COUNTRY REDSHIRT FRESHMAN (2013): Competed in two events during the season…ran a season-best 27:38.2 over the 8K course at Fullerton’s Mark Covert Classic on Aug. 31, finishing 66th overall...posted his best finish at the CSUSB Invite on Sept. 28, covering the 8K course in 28:29.6 to finish 23rd overall, and fifth among Fullerton participants.
FRESHMAN (2012): Redshirt season.
BUENA PARK HIGH SCHOOL
Four-year letter winner in cross country and track while lettering three years in soccer... helped lead the Coyotes to a Freeway League title as a senior... set personal bests of 2:01 in the 800m, 4:25 in the 1,600m, 9:28 in 3,200m, and 15:09 in the three-mile run.

Born in Buena Park... full name is Jose David Ramirez, Jr., but goes by David... parents are Jose and Elvia... has a brother, Daniel, and sister, Breanna... majoring in business administration... lists biking, playing soccer, eating cookies, and "taking long uninterrupted naps" among his hobbies... favorites include: Mammoth Lakes, Pelican Hill (places to run), AC Milan, Los Angeles Lakers (athletic teams), Kaka, Zlatan Ibrahimovic (athletes), Old School (movie), The Strokes (musical artist), "If You Give A Mouse A Cookie" (book), tacos, tortas, cookies, Carl's Jr., Angelo's Pizza, pizookies (foods and places to eat).
