CROSS COUNTRY SENIOR (2014): Competed in five events for the season…opened the campaign at the Fullerton-hosted Mark Covert Classic on Aug. 30, finishing 57th overall with a time of 20:25.4 over the 5K course…ran a season-best 5K time of 18:59.6 at the Highlander Invitational on Oct. 18, also finishing a season-best 43rd overall and eighth among CSF participants...concluded the season at the Big West Championships in Riverside, Calif., on Nov. 1, covering the course in a season-best 6K mark of 23:26.9 to finish 57th overall and ninth among Fullerton participants...named on the Big West Conference All-Academic Team for the second time.
OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD JUNIOR (2014): Competed as a distance runner for the Titans during the 2014 outdoor track and field season... ran the 1500, 3000, and 5000-meter during the season... in the 1500-meter run she posted a season-best 4:55.13 to finish 11th at the UC Irvine Spring Break Meet on March 22... in the 3000-meter run she had a season-best 10:41.68 to place 11th at the Big West Challenge on April 11 and in the 5000-meter run she posted a career-best 18:26.87 to finish 26th at the Ben Brown Invitational on March 15... posted her best finish of the season at the Riverside CC Meet on March 8 when she placed fifth with a time of 4:59.70 in the 1500-meter run.
INDOOR TRACK & FIELD JUNIOR (2014): Competed in two events for the Titans during the 2014 indoor track and field season... she competed inthe women's 3000-meter run twice posting her best time of 10:52.13 on Feb. 7 at the Husker Invitational to finish 19th... her other 3000-meter run she placed 19th at the University of Washington Invitational with a time of 10:39.77.
CROSS COUNTRY JUNIOR (2013): Competed in seven events during the season…placed in the overall top-30 in three events…ran a season-best 18:36.3 over the 5K course at the Highlander Invitational on Oct. 19, finishing 33rd overall...posted her best finish at the CSUSB Invite on Sept. 28, covering the 6K course in 23:22.3 to finish 10th overall, and sixth among Fullerton participants…at the Big West Championships, she was fourth among the CSF runners and 30th overall, logging a time of 23:58.8 at the 6K event in San Luis Obispo, Calif., on Nov. 2…concluded the season competing in another 6K event at the NCAA West Regionals, logging a time of 22:48 while finishing in 199th place overall and fifth among Fullerton participants....named on the Big West Conference All-Academic Team.
TRACK & FIELD SOPHOMORE (2013): Competed in six events, one indoor, for the Titans during the 2013 season...finished 11th in the 3000-meter run at the Run for the Dream event in Fresno, Calif., on February 17 after finishing with a time of 10:40.60...had her best 1500-meter time, 4:52.85, at the Beach Invite in Cerritos, Calif...posted her best finish of the season at the Pomona Preview in the 1500-meter run when she finished eighth (5:02.10).
CROSS COUNTRY SOPHOMORE (2012): Ran in four cross country meets for the Titans this season...posted her best 5k time of 19:38 at the Titan Invitational on Oct..19, finishing 81st overall...posted her best 6k time of 23:12.1 to finish 79th at the UC Riverside Invitational on Sept. 15...competed at the Big West Conference Championships and finished 70th overall with a time of 23:31.5.
CROSS COUNTRY FRESHMAN (2011): Ran in every cross country meet save for one for the Titans as a freshman... finished 63rd in a time of 19:24.0 over the 5K course at the Titan Invitational at Oct. 21... also ran a 19:25.70 to finish 92nd at the 5K Bill Dellinger Invitational on Oct. 1... ran her best time of the season with a 23:24.9 to finish 61st at the Big West Conference Championships on Oct. 29.
LA MIRADA HIGH SCHOOL
Competed four years in cross country and track under for the Matadors head coach Ralph Casas... posted top times in the three-mile (18:00) and 1,600m (5:19) as a junior.

Born in Los Angeles... parents are Juan and Ubertina... has a brother, Juan, and a sister, Marlene... favorites include: Ranch Market (place to run), Los Angeles Lakers (athletic team), White Chicks, Man on Fire (movies), "The Kite Runner" (book) and Mexican (food).
