TRACK & FIELD FRESHMAN (2014): Competed in eight events for the Titans during the 2014 outdoor track and field season... ran the 1500-meter run three times this season and recorded a personal-best 3:56.90 at the Big West Challenge on April 11 to finish in eighth... in the 5000-meter run he ran a 15:21.42 to place 21st at the Ben Brown Invitational on March 15... ran the 3000-meter steeplechase a team-high five fives during the season and at the Big West Championships on May 17 he ran a personal best 9:12.73 to finish fourth... finished in at least the top-six during all five 3000-meter steeplechase events.
CROSS COUNTRY FRESHMAN (2013): Competed in six events during the season…placed in the overall top-10 in three events…ran a season-best 24:46 over the 8K course at the Inter-Region Jamboree in Sacramento, Calif., on Oct. 4, finishing 37th overall...posted his best finish at the Fresno Invitational on Sept. 14, covering the 4-Mile course in 20:02.9 to finish fifth overall, and first among Fullerton participants…competed in one 6K event on Oct. 19, finishing in 46thplace with a mark of 19:11.3 at the Highlander Invitational…concluded the season at the Big West Championships in eighth place among the CSF runners and 52nd overall, logging a time of 28:07.3 at the 8K event in San Luis Obispo, Calif., on Nov. 2.
BUENA PARK HIGH SCHOOL Ran four years of varsity cross country and three seasons of varsity track for the Coyotes under head coach Dan Hirsch... won the 1600m and 3200m Freeway league championship during his junior season... set personal best times in the 800m (1:57), 1600m (4:14), 5k (15:48), and three-mile run (9:16).
PERSONAL Born in Bellflower, Calif... has two brothers, Andrew and Eli... majoring in kinesiology... chose Fullerton because of the familar surroundings and used to running with the same runners... lists hanging out with friends and playing sports among some of his hobbies... favorites include: the beach (place to run), Detroit Red Wings, LA Kings (athletic teams), Luc Robitaille (athlete), Superbad, Friday (movies), Kendrick Lamar, Drake, The Game, J.
