OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2014): Competed in one event for the Titans during the 2014 outdoor track and field season... ran the 800-meters at the Riverside CC Meet on March 8 and he did not finish the race.
CROSS COUNTRY REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2013): Competed in six events during the season…placed in the overall top-20 in three events…ran a season-best 25:31 over the 8K course at the Inter-Region Jamboree in Sacramento, Calif., on Oct. 4, finishing 75th overall...posted his best 8K finish at Fullerton’s Mark Covert Classic on Aug. 31, covering the course in 26:14.2 to finish 15th overall, and third among Fullerton participants…competed in one 6K event on Oct. 19, finishing in 12thplace with a mark of 18:13.1 at the Highlander Invitational…at the Big West Championships, he placed third among the CSF runners and 36th overall, logging a time of 27:28.0 at the 8K event in San Luis Obispo, Calif., on Nov. 2…concluded the season competing in a 10K event at the NCAA West Regionals, logging a time of 31:58 while finishing in 101st place overall and first among Fullerton participants.
TRACK & FIELD REDSHIRT JUNIOR (2013): Competed in nine events for the Titans during the 2013 track and field season...participated in five 3000-meter steeplechase events and holds the top four men's times this season in that event...had a personal best time of 9:27.86 (3rd) at the Big West Challenge on April 12 in Irvine, Calif...finished seventh or better in four of five 3000-meter steeplechase events...finished first in the 1500-meter run with a time of 4:00.23 at the Pomona Preview on March 1-2..also finished fourth (1:55.81) in the men's 800-meter dash at the Steve Scott Invite in Irvine, Calif.
CROSS COUNTRY REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2012): Cominig off his redshirt season, Jayson Perez competed in five of the six team meets for the Titans in the 2012 season. Perez finished twice 43rd, which was a season-best, once at the Big West Championships with a time of 26:21 (39 points) and at the UC Riverside Invitational with a time of 25:37.8 (36 points). Perez had a season-best time of 25:02 at the Santa Clara Bronco Invitational...ran at the NCAA West Regionals finishing with a time of 33:18 finishing in 164th place.
SOPHOMORE (2011): Redshirt Season.
CROSS COUNTRY FRESHMAN (2010): Ran in all six team meets for the Titans... posted his best time of 24:33.6 at the Northridge Invitational on Oct. 16 to finish 10th (eight points) and help the Titans to a third-place finish... also broke 25 minutes with a time of 24:58.6 to finish 28th (20 points) at the UC Riverside Invitational on Sept. 18 to help Fullerton to a fifth-place finish... covered the 10K NCAA West Regional course in 32:30.86 to finish 141st.
SOUTH EL MONTE HIGH SCHOOL Ran varsity cross country for three years (2007-09) and varsity track for three season (2008-10)... three-time team MVP in both sports.
