CAL STATE FULLERTON
TRACK & FIELD SOPHOMORE (2013): Participated in seven events for the Titans during the 2013 outdoor track and field season...competed in the men's 3000-meter steeplechase five times...in the men's 1500-meter run Martinez had his best time of 4:12.71 at the Beach Invite in Cerritos, Calif...finished tenth in the 1500-meter run at the Pomona Preview on March 1-2 with a time of 4:13.36...finished ninth with a time of 9:58.89 in the men's 3000-meter steeplechase at the the Spring Break Invite in Irvine, Calif., on March 22-23...finished in the top ten in four of the five 3000-meter steeplechase events. 

CROSS COUNTRY SOPHOMORE (2012): Martinez competed in one event for the Titans. He ran a 27:21.9 over an 8k course at the Titan Invitational on Oct. 19th, finishing 71st overall. 

CROSS COUNTRY FRESHMAN (2011): Ran in five of the six team meets for the Titans as a rookie... ran a season best of 26:58.3 and finished 172nd at the UC Riverside Invitational on Sept. 17... posted his best finish on Oct. 15 at the Northridge Invitational, finishing 43rd in 26:59.12.

TAFT HIGH SCHOOL
Four-year varsity letter winner in cross country and track under head coach Brian Godsey and played one year of soccer... set a personal record in the 1600m (4:27) as a senior... also had personal bests of 2:01 in the 800m and 10:06 in the 3200m.
