CAL STATE FULLERTON
TRACK & FIELD FRESHMAN (2013): Competed in nine events for the Titans during the outdoor track and field season as a freshman...participated in the men's 800-meter dash four times, posting his best time and finish of the season at the Steve Scott Invite in Irvine, Calif. on April 27-28 with a time of 1:59.23 and fourth place finish...finished third at the Spring Break Invite in the 1500-meter run with a time of 4:02.77...competed once in the men's 3000-meter run, finishing with a time of 9:12.25 at the Pomona Preview on March 1-2...also competed in the men's 4x400 meter relays helping the Titans to a sixth place finish at the Big West Challenge (3:29.99).

CROSS COUNTRY FRESHMAN (2012): In his rookie campaign, Aviles competed in six events for the Titans. He ran his career-best at the Titan Invitational on Oct. 19 with a time of 26:05 finishing in 40th place. Also participated in the Big West Championships with a time of 27:59.2 finishing in 55th place. 

VALENCIA HIGH SCHOOL
Ran three years of varsity cross country and track for the Tigers under head coach Pat Hadley... named the Empire League's Most Valuable Track Athlete as a senior in 2012... set personal bests of 15:23 in the 5K, a 4:22 in the 1600m, 9:39 in the 3200m, and 2:00 in the 800m as a senior.

PERSONAL
Born in Fullerton... parents are Miguel and Carmen... majoring in criminal justice... has three brothers (Juan, David, and Brian) and two sisters (Araceli and Ashley)... lists wrestling, muay thai, and dancing among his hobbies.
