Newport Beach, Calif. - The Titans' track and field squad had a community service project on Saturday morning, assisting in Newport Beach on California Coastal Cleanup Day. More than 40 student-athletes participated.

Most of the distance runners were competing at the UC Riverside Cross Country Invitational.

"This morning was a great opportunity for us to represent our institution and to express Titan Pride off the track," said Team Captain DeAndrae Woods. "Residents were excited to see a group of young adults contributing to their community. I am very proud of our team."
