Cal State Fullerton sophomore-to-be Nancy Blake finished 13th in the 400 meters over the weekend at the USA Junior Outdoor Track & Field Championships held in Indianapolis, Indiana.

The product of Westchester High School ran 55.85. Her best time is her qualifying time for this meet -- 54.89 -- which she ran in winning the Cal-Nevada 400-meter race in Fresno earlier in the season.

The top six finishers advanced to the World Junior Championships.

During Blake's freshmen season with the Titans she improved her 400m time by 4 full seconds from her previous best time of 58.8 out of high school. Her contributions to the Titans' 4x400m relay team this season pushed it to break the school record three times in one season.
