Eugene, OR - Cal State Fullerton junior Ciara Short competes in the semifinals of the women's 400 meters Wednesday at 5:15 p.m. at the NCAA Outdoor Track and Field Championships at the University of Oregon.

The field of 24 runners will be whittled down for the finals, scheduled for 6:32 p.m. on Friday. Short was the Big West Conference champion and placed third last week at the NCAA West Region meet in Texas. She holds the Cal State Fullerton school record at 52.36 seconds.
