Sprinters Highlight Titans' Action in San Diego

San Diego, Calif. - Six Cal State Fullerton sprinters posted personal bests in the 200 meters Saturday evening at the Triton Invitational at UC San Diego.

Marques Barosso captured the spotlight with the best mark by a Big West Conference runner this year, winning the men's race in 21.46. Teammate Jonathan Prather ran a personal best of 21.82.

In the women's race, four Titans set personal records led by Antonio Vega, who cut about four-tenths off her best by running 24.59. Kristyne Hanberg improved by about three-tenths, running 24.78, and Kandace Wilson (24.74) and Yewande Findley (25.10) added PRs.

Also setting personal bests were Dinah Clark in the women's 110 hurdles (14.53), Andrew Little in the pole vault (15 foot-3) and Eric Kwong (54.03) in the 400 hurdles.

Matt Turner won the high jump at 6-foot-10 3/4 and John Bolton, Barosso, Pratter and Aaron Williams teamed up to win the 4x100 relay in 40.94.
