Eugene, Oregon - Senior Jordan Horn shattered the Cal State Fullerton record in winning the 10,000 meter run Friday night to highlight the Titans' efforts this weekend at the Oregon Invitational in Eugene.
The Alta Loma High School product covered the distance in 29:02.57 to finish one second ahead of runnerup Eric Logsdon of Team XO (formerly of U. of Oregon) and obliterate Francisco Vazquez' 1998 Titan record of 30:43.77.

Horn and Logsdon emerged as the pack leaders at the 4-mile mark running about 20 meters behind Rodriguez. Horn took the lead with three laps to go and held off Logsdon's kick in the final turn.
