Tempe, Ariz. - Ashley Sims again paced the Cal State Fullerton track and field squad Friday and Saturday at the 33rd Sun Angel Classic at Arizona State.
Sims placed third in the women's 100 meters in 11.90 and seventh in the 200 in 24.60 ahead of teammate Morgan Thompson in tenth in 24.94.
Other top ten Titan finishers were Brandon Cook, fifth in the men's 800 in 1:54.96; Katie Wilson sixth in 55:41 and Thompson eighth in 1:00.1 in the women's 400; Aaron Ray tenth in the men's 100 in 49.41.
The women's 4x400 relay team of Wilson, Sims, Thompson and Elizabeth Claustro ran ninth in 3:52.24.
Next week the Titans host the Big West Challenge on Friday afternoon.
