Gainesville, FL - Senior Ciara Short ran fifth in the womens 400 meters and seventh in the 200 meters Saturday at the Florida Relays in Gainesville.

Short was the first collegian to finish in the 400, being clocked in 53.07. The winner was Francena McCorory of team adidas in 50.50.

Short ran seventh in the 200 in 23.79. She was the fifth collegian in that race, won by unattached Natasha Hastings.

Titan teammate Lauren Williams ran 32nd in the women's 100 meter hurdles in 14.37 and Fullerton's 4x100 relay team finished 22nd in 46.48.

On the men's side, Javon May finished 37th in the 400 hurdles in 54.30.
