Relay Teams Leads Titans at USC

Los Angeles, CA - Cal State Fullerton posted a school record in the women's 4x100 relay Saturday to highlight the Titans' performance at the Trojan Invitational at USC.

Kelly Figueria, Kandace Wilson, Yawande Findley and Kimiah Hudson combined for a mark of 46.21 in the women's race to break the 2001 record of 46.32 set by Genia Daniels, Deumka Langford, Yavoh Totimeh and Carla Battle.

Jameena Hunt also broke the school record in the shot put for the third time this season with a throw of 42 fee, 10 1/4 inch.

Other highlights included Jonathan Golden meeting the NCAA Regional standard in the high jump with a mark of 6 feet, 10 3/4 inches. Several personal best were established: Dalya Taman winning the pole vault in a personal best of 12 feet, 6 inches; Chris Epstein running a personal best 21.71 in the 200 meters; Roberto Archibold with a career best of 53.30 in the 400 hurdles; Jordan Horn with a best of 3:53.0 in the 1500 meters; and Andrew Little matched his best with a pole vault of 15 feet, 7 inches.

Three Titans dipped under 56 flat in the women's 400 meters -- Wilson at 55.43; Nancy Blake at 55.48 and Hudson at 55.73. Figueria jumped a seasonal best 19 feet even in the long jump.
