Irvine, Calif. - Cal State Fullerton captured three of the four track and field athlete of the week awards presented by the Big West Conference today.

Jameena Hunt won women's field athlete of the week after placing fifth at the USC event in the hammer throw and breaking the school record by more than 10 feet with a toss of 178 feet, 2 inches.

And Julius Joseph won men's field athlete of the week after placing third in the men's hammer throw at USC with a mark of 187-4, only a couple of feet shy of the men's school record.
