Northridge, Calif. - Two more women's school records fell Saturday after Cal State Fullerton competed in the Northridge Invitational Track and Field Meet at CSUN.
Juliane Masciana bested her week-old mark in the 3000 steeplechase with an NCAA regional qualifying time of 10:43.27. The standard is 10:50. And Jameena Hunt broke her own shot put record by one-quarter of an inch, moving out to 44 feet, 3 1/2 inches.
Other good performances came in the men's shot put by Julius Joseph with a personal best of 47 feet, 1 inch. Brent Handa had a p.r. in the men's 5000 to placed second and the women's 4x100 team won their race. Lauren Wiliams ran the 100 hurdles in 14.14, third best in school history. Lawrence Trice and Roberto Archibold made solid season debuts in heir races.
