Fullerton, Calif. - Rain and wet grounds have caused the cancellation of the "Pole Vault in the Plaza" event scheduled for noon today on the Cal State Fullerton campus quad. A possible "make-up" date in April will be considered.

The wet grounds are not safe for the portable runway and pit that house the exhibition, scheduled to bring attention to the Titans' excellent corps of male and female pole vaulters and this weekend's Ben Brown Invitational Track Meet. The hammer throw will be contested Friday at the Cal State Fullerton track and the balance of the meet will be held all day Saturday at Mt. San Antonio College while the Titan track begins the process of a renovation.
