Seattle, Wash. - Lauren Williams ran one-hundredth of a second off her school record to place second in her section and sixth overall in the 60 meter hurdles race Saturday at the Husky Classic in Seattle. Williams clocked 8.48 to trail only Brianne Theisen of Oregon, who was clocked in 8.46, in her section. Indira Spence of Adams State was the overall winner in 8.27.

Teammates Carolyn Ellis ran 9:53.13 to place ninth in her section of the 3000 meters and Yomaira Hernandez ran 18:07.10 to place 22nd in her section of the 5000.
