Fullerton, Calif. - More than 1,300 athletes competed in the Ben Brown Invitational Track and Field Meet Saturday at Cal State Fullerton.

Several hundred competitors were turned away due to full field event flights.

The highlights for the Titans came from the women's side where Ginny English tied for first place in the pole vault at a height of 11 feet, 7 3/4 inches. Freshman Katie Wilson ran second In the 400 meters at 55.75.
