Los Angeles, Calif. - Jameena Hunt and Garrett Myers each won two events to lead Cal State Fullerton to a total of 16 victories in the CSU Challenge Track and Field Meet that opened the Titans' outdoor season Saturday at Cal State Los Angeles.
Hunt won the shot put at 43 feet, 5 inches and the discus at 143 feet, 9 inches while Myers captured the men's triple jump in 48 feet, 9 inches and the 800 meters in 1:57.27.
Other CSF winners were: Men - Brent Handa in the 3000 meters at 8:58.50; Justin Davis in the 110 hurdles at 15.11; Johnathan Golden in the high jump at 6 feet, 11 3/4 inches; Andrew Little in the pole vault at 15 feet, 5 inches; Laron Brown in the long jump at 22 feet, 6 1/2 inches; Julius Joseph in the shot put at 42 feet, 8 3/4 inches and Nick Longo in the hammer at 166 feet, 3 inches.
Women - Kristyne Hanberg in the 200 meters at 25.34; Ciara Short in the 400 at 57.60; Lauren Williams in the 110 hurdles at 14.52; Elizabeth Bastos in the 400 hurdles at 65.43; and Gayle Greenough in the pole vault at 11 feet, 7 3/4 inches
