Flagstaff, Arizona - Matt Turner won the high jump and Aaron Williams won the long jump Friday in Cal State Fullerton's season opening indoor track and field meet at Northern Arizona.

Turner cleared the bar at 6-feet-8 3/4 while Williams jumped 24-feet-1 3/4. Turner also won his heat in the 60-yard hurdles, placing seventh overall with a time of 8.33 seconds. Lamar Jackson was close behind him at 8.53 to place tenth.

On the women's side, the best finish came in the high jump where Heather Leidle was fifth at 5-feet-3. In the 400-yard run, Nancy Blake finished sixth in 57.98 and Destany Cearley was seventh in 58.18.
