IRVINE, Calif. — Matthew Uballe has been named The Big West Men's Track Athlete of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday.

Uballe set a school record in the men's 100m hurdles at home in the Battle in the OC on Thursday, running the event in a time of 13.87. He became the first person in program history to run the event in under 14 seconds, besting the previous record of 14.04 set by Charles Kelly last season.
