Aguilar, Caesar Set School Records at Mt. SAC, Bryan Clay

WALNUT, Calif. — Andrew Aguilar and McKaylie Caesar each set individual school records Thursday night at the Mt. SAC Relays and Bryan Clay Invitational. 

Aguilar broke his own school record at the Mt. SAC Relays in the men's decathlon, scoring 7239 total points to finish fourth in the event. He surpassed his previous mark set last year at The Big West Championships of 6983. 

At the Bryan Clay Invitational, Caesar raced to a program-record time of 34:12.94 in the women's 10k, finishing in 21st place. She bested the previous school record by more than 16 seconds, set by Alyssa Block last season. 

On the men's side, Talman Young set the fifth fastest program mark in the men's 3000m steeplechase, clocking an 8:57.70 to finish in 36th place. Tony Chavez placed 124th in the event with a time of 9:32.18. Eva Rethmeier finished 101st in the women's 3000m steeplechase with a time of 11:04.97. 

The Titans remain at the Mt. SAC Relays and Bryan Clay Invitational through Saturday, April 15th.
