IRVINE, Calif. — Abel Jordan has been named The Big West Men's Track Athlete of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday.
Jordan raced to the fastest 100m hurdles time in The Big West so far this season Friday at the Challenge Cup in Santa Barbara, winning the event by over two-tenths of a second. He clocked a personal-best time of 14.20 seconds to win. Jordan was one of six Titans to record individual event wins at the meet.
Jordan was also a part of the Titans' winning 4x100m relay team at the Challenge Cup, which finished the event with a time of 40.15 seconds.
Fullerton competes later this week at the Bryan Clay Invitational, which will take place April 13-15 in Azusa. The Titans will also feature competitors at the Mt. SAC Relays this weekend, April 14-15.
