Titans Post Multiple Top-Five Finishes at Stanford Invitational, Mike Fanelli Track Classic

PALO ALTO, Calif. — Reyte Rash won the men's 400m hurdles at the Stanford Invitational as a number of Titans posted top-five finishes at the meet and at the Mike Fanelli Track Classic. 

Rash won the event with a time of 51.82, three tenths of a second faster than second-place finisher Caleb Roberson of Long Beach State. Andrew Aguilar finished 11th in the event for the Titans. 

Several other Titans posted top-five finishes on the day at Stanford, including McKaylie Caesar, who placed fourth in section four of the women's 5000m with a time of 16:23.76. Teresa Chang earned silver in the collegiate women's shot put with a mark of 13.22m, while Evalen Garcia and Kaylah McNairy tied for 10th with marks of 12.74m. 

Justin Lowe posted a silver-medal finish in the men's 400m with a time of 47.28, while Chris Goode took eighth with a 48.24. Camren Willis snagged bronze in the collegiate men's long jump with a mark of 7.27m, while Aguilar finished 12th in the event with a 6.96m. Carter Birade placed fourth in the men's 110m hurdles, clocking a time of 14.26. Abel Jordan took seventh with a 14.38.

Christian Wood posted a fourth-place finish in the men's long jump invite with a mark of 7.20m. In section four of the men's 5000m, Alexis Garcia placed seventh, finishing the event in 14:06.18. Arionn Livingston finished 15th for the Titans in the women's 400m with a time of 56.53. 

At the Mike Fanelli Track Classic, Mia Bergman earned bronze in the women's 5000m after finishing the race in 16:31.15. Olivia Ruiz finished fourth in the women's 1500m with a time of 4:29.88, while Vicente Huerta took 24th in the men's 1500m with a 3:56.59. 

The Titans return to action tomorrow, Saturday, April 1st, for the final day of the Stanford Invitational and Mike Fanelli Track Classic.
