Reyte Rash Named Big West Men’s Track Athlete of the Week

IRVINE, Calif. — Reyte Rash has been named The Big West Men's Track Athlete of the Week, the conference announced Tuesday. 

Rash raced to the fastest 400m hurdles time in the NCAA so far this season by almost a full second at the Titans' season-opening home Ben Brown Invite. He clocked a personal-best time of 51.41 seconds to win the event. Rash was one of five Titans to record individual event wins at the meet. 

The Riverside, California, native was also a part of the Titans' winning 4x400m relay team at the Ben Brown Invite, which finished the event with an NCAA-leading time of 3:12.04.

Fullerton competes next at the Bob Larsen Distance Carnival on Friday, March 24th, and the Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invitational on Saturday, March 25th, hosted by UCLA in Los Angeles.
