Bibbs and Floriolli Run Big West Leading Times

FULLERTON, CALIF. – Senior Cooper Bibbs led the charge for the Titans in the Men's 100M Dash as he posted a wind legal time of 10.34 (+0.9) to become the new leader in the Big West Conference. Bibbs time also became the second fastest time ever ran by a Titan in the event. Right behind Bibbs, was Freshman Alonzo Floriolli who ran a new season's best 10.36 (10.359) to move into second in the Big West rankings. Floriollo's time places him number three on the Titans All-Time list for the men's 100m. 

Christian Wood and William Dower finish first and second in the Men's Long Jump after jumping 7.40m (24'3.50") and 7.06m (23'2"). Shallamar Poole soared over seven feet in the Men's high jump for the first time this season. Poole's clearance of 7'0.25" secured him a first-place finish and now leads the Big West with his new personal best clearance. Over in the men's pole vault, Sam Heinrichs set a new personal best to win the event after clearing of 5.06m (16'7.25").

Sophomore Reyte Rash crossed the finish line at 14.67 in the 110H earning him the third-place finish. Mark O'Hannigan drops a huge PR in the men's 800m run after crossing the finish line in 1:54.76.

The men's 4x400 relay team, made up of Reyte Rash, Parris Samaniego, Chris Shiley, and Justin Lowe, ran 3:07.41 to improve on their Big West Conference leading time and now rank third in the West region for Division I outdoor Track & Field. 

On the women's side Rayann Booker ran a new season's best time of 11.91 (+1.9) in the women's 100m dash to now lead the Big West Conference and move into the number seven spot on the Titans All-Time list. Booker becomes only the second Freshman to crack the Top 10 list for the women's 100m dash.

Hailey Murdica was close behind after running 12.01 (+1.9) to finish fifth overall. In the Women's 100m hurdles, Freshman Amira Hawkins ran a new personal best time of 14.25 (+0.7) to finish fourth overall and move up to the number three spot in the Big West Conference rankings. 

In the women's triple jump, Freshman London Lee jumped a new personal best of 11.83m (38'9.75") while Sela Pastrana jumps a new season's best of 11.77m (38'7.50). In the throws Kyliegh Wilkerson threw 13.07m (42.10.75") securing a fifth-place finish.

The Titans will be back in action next week as the team will split to compete at the Bob Larsen Distance Invitational on Friday March 25th and the Rafer Johnson/Jackie Joyner-Kersee Invitational on Saturday March 26th. Andrew Aguilar is set to compete in the Decathlon at the UCR Multis on Thursday, March 24th
