FULLERTON, Calif. –  Day Two of the Ben Brown Invitational was record breaking for Senior Naiah Boardingham. Boardingham won the women's long jump with a leap of 6.31m (20'8.50"), shattering her previous record of 20'3.75" set back in 2017. This mark moves Boardingham to the #1 spot on the leader board for the 2021 NCAA outdoor season and #8 in the world.

"I was happy I broke the school record, I wanted to go back and put it further so it sticks! Being #8 in the world is crazy to me, because it didn't seem that far. The pieces are there and they have always been there, they are now just coming together."

"I am extremely proud of Ms. Naiah. Today was a great birthday gift to herself and I am grateful to be part of it. It has always been there and I've always believed in her. So we are going to enjoy the moment and continue building" #TusksUp #LetsEYT
