RIVERSIDE --- Cal State Fullerton had three student-athletes complete competition in multi events at the UC Riverside Spring Track Classic held at UCR Track and Field Stadium on Friday.
In the decathlon, senior Jake Ostgaard finished in 13th place with a total of 5,580 points. His top performances on the day included a sixth-place finish in the 1,500 meters clocking a time of 4:55.02 as well as a seventh-place finish in the discus throw with a mark of 37.32 meters.
In the heptathlon, Ifunanya Gwacham placed 14th with a total of 4,103 points. The senior's best performance of the day was a seventh-place finish in the javelin throw with a mark of 33.19 meters.
Junior Jordan Agnew placed 19th with a total of 3,570 points. Agnew finished sixth in the 800 meters with a time of 2:32.88.
Track and field events will take place on Saturday to conclude the UC Riverside Spring Track Classic.
