FULLERTON, Calif. - Junior Janaya Shorty earned her second Big West Athlete of the Week honor after a stellar performance in three different races at the Oxy Invitational last weekend.

Shorty had a trio top-three collegiate finishes in the 200 meters, the 400 meters and anchored the winning 4x100 meter relay team.

She recorded a season-best in the 400m with a time of 54.86 and was the third-fastest collegiate while also barely missing her season-best in the 200m with her time of 24.02 and finishing second.

Shorty also anchored the winning 4x100 meter relay team who also recorded a new season-best with their time of 45.74.

This is Shorty's second honor of the season and third of her career.
