FULLERTON, Calif. – The Cal State Fullerton women's track and field team earned its second Big West Player of the Week nod of the season thanks to Jessica Flores' record-breaking hammer throw at the University of Las Vegas Spring Invitational on Mar. 20.
The junior shattered Cal State Fullerton's previous school record of 185-feet-1 inch, set in 2010 by Jameena Hunt, after her fourth attempt at the UNLV Spring Invite flew 196-feet-5 inches.
