OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD JUNIOR (2014): Was one of the top sprinters on the team for the Titans during the 2014 outdoor track and field season... competed in the 100m, 200m, 4x100m relay, and 4x400m relay... in the 100-meter dash he posted a personal-best time of 10.89 to finish fourth at the Steve Scott Invitational on May 4... also won the Big West Challenge on April 11 with a time of 10.89 in the 100-meter dash... in the 200-meter dash he won and had a personal-best 21.88 at the UCI Spring Break Invitational on March 22... helped the 4x100m relay team place second at the UCI Spring Break with a time of 42.13... had his best relay race time of 41.18 at the Mt. SAC Relays on April 18... had eight top-four individual finishes during the season.
FOOTHILL COLLEGE Competed two seasons for Foothill College in Los Altos, Calif., under head coach Doug Boyett… also played football and was named to the first team All-NFCA conference special teams player… recorded a personal best of 4.29 in the 40 yard dash…was an eight-time dean’s list recipient and was an introductory student panel speaker.
SANTA TERESA HIGH SCHOOL Competed in track, basketball, and football for the Saint Bernards… named the MVP in track and recorded personal bests in the 100m (10.9) and 200m (21.8)… also was named to the Mt. Hamilton Division First team…named the two-time offensive MVP for football.
PERSONAL Born in San Jose, Calif… parents are Joe and Donna… has one brother, Joseph… majoring in sociology… wants to become an Olympic athlete as well as making a difference in a children’s hospital as a nurse practioner… chose Fullerton because of the campus and community… lists cooking, lifting, and snowboarding among some of his hobbies… cousin is Marc Mariani of the Tennessee Titans.
