OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD SOPHOMORE (2014): Competed in the shot put, discus, and hammer throw for the Titans during the 2014 outdoor track and field season... recorded a season-best in the shot-put with a toss of 38-05.50 to finish 11th at the Big West Challenge on April 11... also participated in the discus throw three times during the season with his best toss of 129-10 coming at the UC Riverside Invitational on March 29 when he finished 14th... competed in the hammer throw eight times over the 2014 season and recorded a personal best 171-02 at the Ben Brown Invitational on March 15 to finish seventh... his toss of 171-02 was also the top throw for the Titans all season. 

OUTDOOR TRACK & FIELD FRESHMAN (2013): Competed in eleven outdoor events for the Titans during the 2013 track and field season…nine of his events were in the men’s hammer throw with a team best 162-00 at the Big West Challenge on Apr. 12, placing sixth…Martinez also had the third best hammer throw of 159-08, placing 19th at the Ben Brown Invitational on Mar. 8-9…in the men’s shot put, he threw 39-05.00, placing 11th at the Big West Challenge on Apr. 12.
