Aaron "A-Ray" Ray was born on Aug. 28, 1990, in Visalia, California... his parents are William Ray and Pamela Hardwick of Fresno, California... he graduated (2008) from Redwood High School in Visalia, California, where he competed in the 200, 400, 4x100 and 4x200 meter relays... he also played varsity football and basketball... he earned high academic honors all four years... was part of the Link Crew leadership program which matches upper classmen with freshmen... member of the Black Student Union... graduated with a 4.0 gpa... didn't start running track until his junior year in high school... is a big fan of the Oregon Ducks and Nike.
