Olivia Raya joins the staff for the 2013 season and will work with athletes who compete in all throws competitions. A 2009 graduate of UNLV (University of Nevada, Las Vegas) she earned her degree in kinesiology and physical education and is slated to finish her Master of Science in Kinesiology from Texas A&M University-Kingsville in May 2013.

A four-time Mountain West Academic All-Conference honoree, she established the UNLV school record for the hammer throw in 2009, earned Dean's List honor twice, was a three-time captain of her squad and earned the team's highest GPA honors for two straight years.

She currently lives in Orange.
