Titans Wrap Up Successful New Mexico Collegiate Classic Outing

Day One Recap

ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.London Lee posted a school record in the women's triple jump to highlight a successful day two showing for Cal State Fullerton indoor track & field at the New Mexico Collegiate Classic. 

Lee finished 10th place in the women's triple jump, setting a mark of 12.24 (40' 2") to set the school record. The Titans' lone women's distance runner at the meet this weekend, McKaylie Caesar, finished seventh in the women's mile with a time of 4:56.61.

On the men's side, Jeremiah Castellano (4:19.52, 11th) and Vicente Huerta (4:29.37, 20th) posted top-20 finishes in the men's mile. Huerta finished 20th in the men's 800m with a time of 1:57.27 while Castellano finished 21st with a 1:57.71. 

Sam Heinrichs set a lifetime best mark of 5.18m (17' 0") in the men's pole vault to finish tied for ninth as six different Titans posted top-20 finishes on the day. 

Up next, Fullerton preps for the MPSF Championships on February 17-18th in Spokane, Washington.
