2015-16 Photo Gallery

CROSS COUNTRY REDSHIRT SOPHOMORE (2015)
Competed in six events for Cal State Fullerton in the fall and finished as the seventh Titan in each meet…top overall placement was 55^th at the Highlander Invitational, completing the 5k course in a time of 19:14.77 in Riverside, Calif. (10/18).

PREVIOUS COLLEGE
Has attended Mt. San Antonio College, Rio Hondo Community College, and East Los Angeles College…at Mt. SAC redshirted her freshman season with an injury (2012)…at Rio Hondo (2013) was the only runner to qualify for state and ran a 5k of 19:29 at the championships.

HIGH SCHOOL
A 2012 graduate of Los Altos High School in Hacienda Heights, Calif…was a four-year varsity member of the cross country and track programs…recorded a time of 18:23 at the 5k Mt. SAC course. 

PERSONAL
From Hacienda Heights, Calif…parents are Regino and Sonia Ruiz…plans to major in criminal justice with the goal of working at law firm as a prosecutor…favorites include: Yosemite, San Francisco (places to run), Steve Prefontaine (athlete), White Chicks (movie), green smothies, fruit, donuts, pizza, cheeseburgers (food).
