For the very first time in school history, the Titans competed in the pentathlon and women's distance medley relay. The Titans also gained a new school record in the one-mile run as junior Tejera Dial ran a 5:09.40 mile to finish in ninth. Former Titan Casey Candelaria held the record as she ran a 5:11.35 mile back in 2012.

Nicolette Garcia, Taylor Frank, and Jessica Aguilera all competed in the pentathlon for the first time, as Aguilera was the highest finishing Titan in the event as she finished in 14^th with 3,056 points. Garcia finished with 3,106 points and Frank had 2,910 as they placed 16^th and 19^th, respectively.

Participating in the distance medley relay for the very first time the Titans finished eighth with a time of 12:18.89 as the relay was ran by Valdovinos, Claustro, Dial, Fuentes, and Lynch.  

Celinda Manzo and Tijerra Lynch each set personal records in the 3000-meter run with times of 10:37.25 and 10:39.77. Elizabeth Claustro finished fifth in the 400-meter dash with a time of 1:02.84.

Ana Valdovinos and Arianna Fuentes also competed in the one-mile run as Valdovinos finished in 10^th with a time of 5:09.62, while Fuentes placed 15^th with a time of 5:15.31.

"Overall it was a solid weekend for us," said head coach John Elders. "I'm really happy with the way the girls ran on the track for the first time this season. I'm pleased with the athletes and the progress they have made this season."

Fullerton now shifts its focus to the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational in Lincoln, Neb., on Feb. 7-8.
