FULLERTON, Calif.--- Coming off an exciting 2013 campaign that saw the team break four school records, a meet record, and sport 18 top-four finishes, the Cal State Fullerton women's track and field team is ready to make some noise once again this season, as the 2014 season schedule was released Wednesday morning.

The Titans will travel to six different meets in what figures to be one of the more extensive regular season schedules in recent memory.

"I'm very excited about this year's schedule," said head coach John Elders. "This is a very different looking schedule for us, as we're going to some places we've never been before and competing in some top-notch facilities against some very good teams."

The Titans begin their season, returning to the National Pole Vault Summit in Reno, Nevada, while also taking part in the NAU Team Challenge for the second consecutive season on the campus of Northern Arizona the weekend of Jan. 17-18th.

Fullerton will then head to the Albuquerque, New Mexico to take part in the UNM Cherry and Silver Collegiate Classic, hosted by the University of New Mexico the weekend of Jan. 24-25th, which is the same venue where the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships will be held on March 15th.

The Titans will then pack their bags for the Pacific Northwest, as they'll compete in the UW Invitational for the second straight year (Jan. 31- Feb. 1st), before making the program's first-ever trip to Lincoln, Nebraska to compete in the Frank Sevigne Husker Invitational on Feb. 7-8th.

Fullerton then rounds out its season with a trip to Boise, Idaho, where the squad will take part in the Boise State Team Challenge on Feb. 15th.

Fans can follow the indoor track and field team all season long by either "liking" Cal State Fullerton's official athletics Facebook page (Facebook.com/csuf.athletics) or by following the Titans on Twitter @FullertonTitans.
