FULLERTON, Calif. -- The Cal State Fullerton Dance Team clinched its 13th UDA/UCA Collegiate National Championship at the ESPN Wide World of Sports Complex in Orlando, Fla., on Saturday night.

The Titans competed in the Division I Jazz category.

On Sunday afternoon, Fullerton finished second in the Division I Pom finals, competing in the event for the first time.

What an amazing weekend this has been. To compete in two categories took a lot of time, energy, hard work and dedication; but to represent CSUF in those two categories was so rewarding. Kenndra and I are so proud of each and every lady. They danced their hearts out in semis and in finals on both days, and showed the nation what Cal State Fullerton is all about. We were all beaming with Titan Pride. Getting second place in the Pom division was so exciting especially since it was our first time competing, but of course, defending our title and taking home our 13th gold medal was just the icing on the cake!
