SEASON STATS REPORT | BIG WEST RELEASE

LAST TIME OUT
The Titans (6-7, 5-7 BWC) split the series at Titan Gym against UC Irvine with a loss in the first game, 89-78, but a win in game two, 67-64.

MATCHUP HISTORY
The Titans and Tritons have played just three times in program history and UCSD has won two of those games. The last time these two teams met was Dec. 27, 1972 and UCSD won 74-69 in double overtime.

SCOUTING REPORT
UCSD is 5-10 overall and 2-8 in Big West play. UC San Diego leads the Big West and ranks fifth nationally in three-point field goals per game (10.8). The Tritons drained a Big West Conference single-game record 22 in a win over Bethesda (Feb. 7).

MILESTONE WATCH
Head coach Dedrique Taylor secured his 100th win as head coach of the Titans on Feb. 20 against UC Irvine. He is the fourth coach in school history to win 100 games at the helm of the Titans program.

MADDOX BROTHERS (NOT ACTUALLY)
There is no relation, but Tray and Dante Maddox both had career nights to open up the Big West season. Tray, who scored 27 points on Jan. 1, is averaging 15.1 points (tops on the team) to go with 2.4 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game this season. Tray is shooting 43.2% (32-74) from distance, the best mark in the Big West and the 15th-best mark in the nation (minimum 2.5 made threes per game). Dante, who scored 19 on Jan. 2 at UC Santa Barbara, is averaging 11.5 points (second on the team) and 22.4 minutes per game.

MONEY AT THE LINE
Freshman guards Dante Maddox Jr. and Latrell Wrightsell Jr. are a combined 84-94 from the charity stripe this season. Wrightsell is third in the nation in free-throw percentage at 94.6 this season as he has made 35 of his 37 attempts on the season. Maddox is 10th in the country and second in the Big West behind Wrightsell at 90.7% on 49-54 shooting.

As a team, the Titans are shooting 201-273 (73.6%) from the free-throw line this season, which is fourth in the Big West. That mark includes a school-record 19-19 from the line against the Gauchos on Jan. 2. That marked a school record for best percentage in a single game. The previous was a tie at 100% on 12 attempts against Montana State on Feb. 18, 2012 and Pepperdine on Dec. 12, 1991.

HALL AND LEE
The Titans have a -5.9 rebounding margin on the season despite the two starting forwards having good rebounding numbers. Senior forward Josh Hall made his debut at UCSB and he averages 8.7 points and 7.4 rebounds per game. Sophomore Vincent Lee is second on the team in rebounds and fourth in points with 6.6 boards and 10.3 points per game. In the January 9 win over LBSU, Lee posted 16 points and 16 rebounds. He then led the team to a Jan. 17 win over CSUN with a career-high 25 points and also 11 rebounds.

TREASURING THE BALL
The Titans have 176 assists on the season (342 made field goals) and 168 total turnovers. The team's assist-to-turnover ratio of 1.05 is fifth in the Big West.

LAST TIME OUT
Fullerton (2-16, 1-13 BWC) lost two games at UC Irvine on Feb. 19 and 20.

MATCHUP HISTORY
The Titans and Tritons have never played against each other.

I'M A PERSON, AND MY NAME IS ANNIKEN
Sophomore Anniken Frey is second on the squad in scoring with 9.0 points per game. She also dishes out 3.75 assists per game and is shooting 46.2% (30-65) from beyond the arc.

JOY TO THE WORLD
Senior Joy Krupa, who played just nine games last season before suffering a season-ending injury, is averaging 6.2 points and 7.9 rebounds (team leader, fourth in Big West) and 3.4 assists on the year in 30.6 minutes per game. She's also pitching in 1.56 blocks (No. 3 in the Big West) and 1.94 steals (No. 6 in the Big West) per game. In the win over Cal Poly on Feb. 13, Krupa tallied nine points, eight rebounds, three assists, seven steals and si blocks.

SCOUTING REPORT
UC San Diego is 5-8 overall and 5-8 in Big West play this season. UC San Diego's 111 three-point baskets are the second most in the Big West Conference, trailing only UC Santa Barbara (148). Additionally, the Tritons rank third with a three-point field goal percentage of 34.3, trailing just UC Davis (38.2) and UC Santa Barbara (34.5).

BLOCK PARTY
The Titans lead the Big West in blocks on the year with 62 total and are second in blocks per game at 3.4. Krupa leads the team with 28 on the year while Book has eight.

BOOK IT
Junior Amiee Book is averaged 14.9 points per game on the year, tops on the team and the only Titan averaging 10+ points per game. She scored 10+ points in 11 of the last 12 games dating back to last season. Book grabbed 4.9 rebounds per game, the No. 3 mark on the squad. She shot 43.2% (19-44) from distance this season. She last played against Hawai'i on Jan. 23 and has missed the ensuing games due to injury.
