Then-junior Savahna Costello, a 2019 All-Big West Honorable Mention, celebrates a point against the Tritons of UCSD.

"I mean, I couldn't tell you what play this was specifically," Costello said. "But this is probably my signature 'we just got a point' celebration.

Q: How does this picture sum-up your mentality while playing?

A: This picture is a perfect example of who I am as an athlete, I think I am very different on the court than in real life. When we get a point, I am always super excited, it does not matter for me, how far we are down or how far ahead we are, this is who I try to be every single time. Every point has the same value, so no matter what happened, I try to celebrate everything the same.

Q: How does this picture sum-up your team as a whole?

A: We have this thing that we say, that the bench is lit, so that no matter what we act crazy and are lit on the bench. I think that translates to the court as well and everyone is equally as likely to look the same way.

Q: And not related to this photo specifically, but what was your favorite moment of last season?

A: Oh my gosh, there are so many. So, beating Long Beach in the Pyramid was amazing. And then, every year playing at Hawaii in their gym. The fans are so crazy and there is an unbelievable amount of people and the experience is so amazing. Even though the experience was a little different and a little heartbreaking at the end. It was just an amazing game of working through things and trying to figure everything out. It was really fun to play in that match.
