In light of current social injustice events that occurred both prior and succeeding May 25th's tragic incident, Titans Athletics took the initiative to reflect, listen, and learn. To take the step in the direction of change, the department wants to insure that everyone who is a part of the community feels supported, heard, and seen. In efforts to do so, Titans Athletics is launching a new campaign, Voices of the Heard. Voices of the Heard is to contribute and participate in the movement of anti-racism. The purpose is to shine light on the voices of our Titans Athletics community (student-athletes, coaches, administration, staff, and campus leaders) while spreading awareness of the department's stand with anti-racism.
Statements from the Titans Athletics Community will be shared weekly @FullertonTitans. There are a series of questions in which they can choose from and speak on. All statements can be viewed on both the Titans Athletics' website and social media platforms. Voices of all backgrounds will have the chance to be heard while showing the support of our black student-athletes, coaches and administration/staff. Voices of the Heard will continue the conversation of anti-racism and form unity within our community. This is not a moment but a movement.
