The Tuffys: And the Winner of Sophomore Female Athlete of the Year is...

The Tuffys are the first Cal State Fullerton Athletics social media award show, celebrating the athletics achievements our student-athletes during the 2019-20 academic year. The winners will be decided via fan vote on Twitter.

Every week for the next eight weeks, we will announce the nominees of an award on Tuesday morning with the poll open on Twitter for 48 hours, then we will announce the winner on Thursday. We will follow the same format later in the week, announcing the nominees on Saturday morning and then the winner of the award on Monday morning.

Lisa Djerf, Women's Golf - Competed in 4 tournaments, 3 top-15 finishes. Average score of 74.50.

 

Dani Martinez, Softball - Posted a 6-4 record with 2 saves in 15 appearances (59.2 IP). 3.99 K/7 and 2.93 ERA.

Amiee Book, Women's Basketball - Averaged 12.3 points and 5.7 rebounds per game in 27 starts.

YuSeung Suh, Women's Tennis - 8-4 record overall and 6-3 in dual matches.
