Cal State Fullerton welcomed Sean Collins to the Titan family as the department's Assistant Sports Media Director on Aug. 2, 2017. He has since been named the Interim Director of Athletics Communications. He also supervises the office's student internship program.
Collins joined the Titans after spending the 2016-17 academic year as the associate director of media relations for Santa Clara. While with the Broncos he served as the contact for the school's baseball, men's soccer and men/women's tennis programs.
Before Santa Clara, Collins spent 2015-16 as a communications fellow at the Pac-12 Conference and five years at the University of Arizona as a student assistant.
While at the Pac-12, he handled media relations duties for women's soccer, wrestling, men's swimming and diving, men's and women's tennis, baseball while also assisting with volleyball and men's basketball.
While completing his undergraduate degree at the University of Arizona, Collins worked in the communications services office. He was the primary contact for cross country and track and field and also handled women's soccer for the 2014 season. The Tucson, Arizona, native graduated in 2015 with a degree in communication and a minor in sports management.
He currently resides in Mission Viejo, Calif.
