FULLERTON, Calif. – The Titans kick off another homestand with a pair of conference clashes this weekend, as UC Irvine will visit Titan Gym, Friday at 7 pm PT. UC Davis will then take on the Titans, Saturday at 7 pm PT.
WEEKLY RECAP
The Titans suffered a winless week last week, as they dropped a couple of matches at Big West rival UC Riverside and a home contest to CSU Bakersfield.
TICKETS
Tickets for all Titans home games can be purchased online at FullertonTitans.com, or at the Cal State Fullerton Athletics Ticket Office, located in the Titan House on campus off of Gymnasium Drive on the northeast side of Titan Gym. Game day sales and will call tickets will open one hour prior to the scheduled time at the specific venue. All Cal State Fullerton students with a school ID get free admission.
BREAST CANCER AWARENESS
The Titans will hold their annual Breast Cancer Awareness match vs. UC Irvine on Friday. Each athlete will wear a pink ribbon in their hair to recognize the dreaded disease, while each coach will wear a pink pin.

• The Anteaters enter the weekend 15-2 overall, while they rank third in the Big West with a 3-1 league record. UC Irvine ranks second in the Big West in kills per set (13.52), third in attack percentage (.248), third in assists per set (12.59), second in services aces (107), and first in services aces per set (1.75),
• Luna Tsujimoto ranks third in the league in digs per set (4.21), while Idara Akpakpa ranks third in hitting percentage (.383). Harlee Kekauoha ranks second in service aces per set (0.39). Ali Koumelis ranked fifth in the league in assists per set (10.15).

UC DAVIS NOTES
• The Aggies have had a rough time of it this year, as they're 9-9 overall but just 1-4 in the Big West. However, UC Davis ranks third in the league in kills (869), second in total attacks (2402), third in assists (815), third in service aces (97), first in digs (1057), third in digs per set (15.78), third in blocks (150) and second in points (1116.0)
• Malia Bolko ranks second in the league in digs pet set (4.85), while she leads the Big West in digs overall. Kelechi Ohiri ranks fourth in the conference in blocks per set with 1.05.
QUICK HITS
• Cal State Fullerton already has four wins this season after securing just six last year after going winless in 2015.
• In their wins, the Titans haven't messed around, as three of their four victories have been three set sweeps, with the other one going just four sets.
• Fullerton has battled all season long, but have gotten unlucky when it comes to rallies. The Titans are 0-4 in five-set matches so far, while they've dropped the first two sets and have rallied to win the third and fourth set in three of those contests.
• Madeline Schneider leads the team 10 double-digit kill performances with a team best 209 kills and 3.17 kills per set. She ranks second on the team with six double-doubles.
SUPER SAVAHNA
Freshman libero Savahna Costello has done it all defensively for the Titans this year. She leads the squad in service aces (19), total digs (256) and digs per set (3.94). Her digs rank sevneth in the league. She was named to All-Tournament Teams in back-to-back weekends. She was awarded Towson Tiger Invitational honors, eventually leading to Big West Freshman of the Week honors on Sept. 11. She was also named to the Indiana State All-Tournament Team.
AN OFFENSIVE THREAT
Madeline Schneider's 209 total kills rank seventh in the Big West, while her 3.17 kills per set is 10th best in the league.
MAGNIFICANT MADDIE
Despite a 3-1 defeat at the hands of CSU Bakersfield on Oct. 3, Madeline Schneider stole the show, recording a new career-high 25 kills in the match on a .368 hitting percentage. She also produced 12 digs, marking her sixth double-double of the season.
HOME SWEET HOME
The Titans recently ended a brutal stretch, where Fullerton played eight of nine contests away from Titan Gym. Fullerton is now in the middle of a stretch that sees the Titans playing six of eight contests at home. Friday is game on of a three-match homestand.
KEEP GRINDING
The wins may not always be there, but the Titans refuse to give up. Fullerton owns an 11-13 record in sets three and four as opposed to a 13-27 mark in all other sets.
HAPPY TO HELP
Nastassja Bowman leads all Titans with 487 assists and 7.49 assists per set. She also leads the squad in double-doubles with seven. Her 7.49 assists per set rank eighth in the league.
