The Titans (6-16, 1-7 BWC) have now lost seven straight matches, while UC Davis improves to 11-10 overall and 4-4 in league play.
Walbrecht hit .475 while UCD boasted a .253 attacking percentage for the match as a team. In addition, Aima Eichie added 10 kills for the Aggies while Maddie Merlino and Sophia Mar guided the offense with 28 and 22 assists apiece, respectively.
Malia Bolko posted a match-best 24 digs.
Shimen Fayad led Cal State Fullerton with 18 kills while adding 10 digs to mark her team-leading 12th double-double of the year. Madeline Schneider posted 16 kills hitting .424 in the match while Annie Ellis delivered 34 assists. Madisen Babich totaled 21 digs.
After dropping the first two sets by identical scores of 25-20, the Titans rebounded after the break.
In the third set, Cal State Fullerton battled back from a 3-0 deficit to eventually take an 8-6 lead on an 8-3 run. Later in the set, a Fullerton attack error and service ace from UCD's Maddie Merlino put the Aggies ahead 20-18 and looking to finish off the sweep.
The Aggies had match point at 24-20, but three attack errors and a kill from Fayad quickly had the match even at 24-24. With the score even at 26-26, back-to-back Davis errors gave the Titans the set.
Early in the fourth set, Cal State Fullerton had a 10-5 lead but Davis fought back to even the score at 12-12. After evening the frame, the Aggies went on a 9-3 run to take a 21-15 advantage that the Titans could not combat.
The Titans return home to Titan Gym at 7 p.m., Saturday hosting 13th-ranked Hawai'i at Titan Gym.
